The Cascadia Conservation District is self-governed by a Board of Supervisors who work to establish priorities, set policy and direct the work of District staff.

Each Conservation District is governed by a board of five supervisors who are all local residents.

Registered voters residing within Chelan County who are interested in guiding Cascadia’s conservation efforts are encouraged to run for office. Board members are unpaid volunteer public officials who serve a three-year term and must be available to attend monthly meetings.

If you don’t have the time to serve on the Board, then make your voice heard by voting for your favorite candidate. Registered voters residing within Chelan County are eligible to vote. The poll-site election will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Pybus Market, Wenatchee 7 North Worthen Street, in Wenatchee, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. You may also request an absentee ballot to deliver or mail in on or before election day.  Absentee ballot requests must be made by February 13, 2026 by 4:00 p.m.

*Cascadia will host a family Conservation Fair from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on election day. Enjoy fun activities, talking with our staff and light refreshments!

What is a Cascadia Conservation District Supervisor?

Each Conservation District is governed by a board of five supervisors who are all local residents. Click here to meet our current board members.

Supervisor Role & Responsibilities

• Identify local natural resource conservation needs
• Develop and evaluate Annual and Long-range plans.
• Educate and inform landowners, farm operators, the general public, and local, state and federal legislators on conservation issues and programs.
• Administer the District by delegating tasks through a structure of board officers and committees.
• Budget district funds and report on activities to the public.
• Set policy for District Executive Director to implement.
• CD Supervisors are public officials who serve without compensation.

Time Required

A Supervisor’s term of office is three years. Supervisors are expected to attend 12 regularly scheduled board meetings per year, committee meetings, and other special meetings, for an average of 20 days/year.

2026 Candidates:

Mail-in Ballot Request Deadline: February 13, 2026 at 4:00 pm

Mail-in ballots are only available upon request.  The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is February 13, 2026 by 4:00 p.m.

Voters can request ballots by phone (509) 436-1601 or filling out the request form (PDF  or Word) and emailing it to [email protected].

For your privacy and to ensure your information is current, a new request for a mail-in ballot must be completed every election year.

Your email addresses will be NOT be collected when you complete a ballot request.  NOTE:  You must ensure that all the information placed in the ballot request form is accurate before you hit the submit button or you may not receive a ballot.

Mail-in Ballots Sent: in early March

Ballots will be mailed to you early March, 2026. If you have not received a ballot by March 1, 2026, please contact the CCD office at (509) 436-1601 for a replacement.  Requests for replacements cannot be honored after March 3.

Election Day: March 14, 2026 at Pybus Market 7 North Worthen Street in Wenatchee

Poll-site voting will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Pybus Market, 3 North Worthen Street in Wenatchee. The poll-site will be open at 10:00 am and close at 3:00 pm.

If you requested a mail-in ballot, you have two options to return your completed ballot:

1. Mail it in.  To be counted all mailed ballots must be received at the District office on or before 12:00pm on March 13, 2026.  NOTE:  not all mail is postmarked the day it is deposited with the post office due to changes to its mail-handling process. Cascadia is not responsible for ballots not received by election day.
2. Drop it off.  To be counted, all hand-delivered ballots must be received at Cascadia’s office at 1350 McKittrick St, Ste. B., Wenatchee by 12:00 pm on March 13, 2026 or delivered to the poll site at Pybus Market, 7 North Worthen Street, Wenatchee on March 14 between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.

NOTE: You will NOT be able to drop off your Supervisor Election ballot at any County election drop boxes.
