Cascadia Conservation District (Cascadia) is requesting firms provide their qualifications for a unique project focused on prescribed fire outreach and education services in Chelan County, WA.  This project is part of an ongoing effort to increase awareness, capacity, and technical expertise for the use of prescribed fire on private lands and to develop prescribed fire projects which include adjacent public and private lands.  This work is supported through funding from Washington Conservation Commission (WSCC) and Washington Department of Natural Resources (WA DNR).

Qualified candidates will be invited to interview the week of June 3rd.  Contractor selection is anticipated to take place on June 7th, with Scope of Work development and contracting beginning mid-June.

Cascadia Conservation District (“Cascadia”) is requesting qualifications for providing design and engineering services for our Roaring Creek Full Floodplain Design project. The selected design firm will work collaboratively with Cascadia to design a habitat restoration project to benefit ESA-listed salmonid species. Cascadia currently has funding secured to develop the project to the permit-ready design level. Funding is provided by the Washington Department of Ecology (“Ecology”) with additional funding from the US Forest Service (USFS).

Applications are due on September 20, 2024 with Questions and Qualifications due on September 18, 2024. Qualified candidates will be invited to interview the week of September 30th-October 4th.  Contractor selection is after the interviews are complete, with Scope of Work development and contracting beginning mid-October.
