Back in March, Cascadia conducted an outreach survey to better understand community perceptions of the district’s value and strengthen future engagement. We have gathered the results, and we are excited to share responses.
We surveyed previous program participants, district partners, and individuals who were previously unfamiliar with the Cascadia Conservation District. Among those new to Cascadia, clean drinking water and wildfire risk/forest health tied as the most resource concerns for the next 5 years. Consequently, these residents expressed the strongest interest in receiving advice on landscape water use and wildfire preparedness. We will use these findings to guide our work and the way we engage with our community.
Stay tuned for more results and as always, feel free to reach out with more feedback!
